Hi I wanna tell you about one of my favourite perfumes. This is Lovely by Sarah Jessica Parker and this is such a great perfume. I do like to wear Perfume daily. but I don't like to wear Perfume that's really strong, i've heard co-workers complain about other co-workers and actually i agree about coming into work smelling of perfume or cologne and it's just too strong. I like a perfume that smells good but without being over-bearing and this is definantly one of those. It has such a great light flowery smell. it's not too strong but it's effective. You don't have to spray more than one time or so. and honestly - of all of the perfumes out there that have been done by celebrities, i've smelled most of them in the store and would not purchase any of them.
I probably wouldn't have smelled this one in store had I not read an interesting article - it was about the time the perfume was initially released and it was an interview with Sarah Jessica Parker who apparently, a long time before the perfume came out. She had a hobby of making different perfumes and fragrances for herself and friends. Lots of her friends encouraged her to put out a perfume epsecially when it became the trendy thing in hollywood to do. She refused to do it becuase she felt like she would come off like the other celebrities who just put their name on something that they had nothing to do with. Eventually her husband Mathew Broderik really convinced her to go meet some people and she was completely involved in making the perfume.
I don't know if you are a Sarah Jessica Parker fan, I am, but would not have bought this perfume just because she put her name on it until i heard how much went into this, so much work, so many tests and she was involved every step of the way. Ok this is not just another celebrity perfume. I picked up and smelled it in the store, maybe 2 years ago, I buy a new bottle every two months because this is my favourite. I dont have to buy it too often as it lasts so long, you only need to spray it once. Spray it once and it gets a good amount.....that's plenty with just one spray. Occassionaly in the evening i'll spray it once or twice and then walk through it. One spray on the wrist, it stays wet and it's enough to rub it between the two and distribute it evenly.
I don't even know how to explain this, its kind of manelli kind of flowery but really its just one of those things, you've got to pick it up. I really think if you smell it youll like it too. the packaging is pretty too. Some of the celebrity perfumes are multi-coloured and what not. You can see it has a real light pink tint to the perfume itself and it comes in a simple but pretty bottle, Lovely By Sarah Jessica Parker, and like I said it's my favourite perfume. There is only about two different perfumes I wear and this is one of them and it's probably my favourite. So at least check it out next time you are in the perfume section in your local store. I purchased this one, actually my husband purchased this one as a gift. But normally when i purchase it I purchase it from Bella Villas. This simple bottle, 1.7 fl oz this costs about $45 which actually as far as perfume goes isn't bad, and it doesn't smell like cheap perfume, it's nice i like it - you should check it out!
